Puliyogare/ Tamarind Rice 



Ingredients:


1  cup of steamed rice

1/2 cup of Puliyogare mixture

1/4 cup cooking oil

1 small slice tamarind

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

 2 tsp salt 

2 tbsp ground nut

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp sesame seeds

1 tsp urad dal

1 tsp chana dal

5 - 6 curry leaves


Preparation:


Step 1: Cook the rice and keep it aside.

Step 2: Now heat the pan and add oil, mustard seeds, ground nut,

sesame seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, tamarind, puliyogare mixture, salt, turmeric powder.

Step 3: Next add above tempering into the cooked rice and serve it with grated coconut.
