Dahi Puri/Masala Puri Chaat


Ingredients:


10-15 Fresh Crispy Puri

1 big onion, finely chopped

1 tomato, finely chopped

5-6 green chili

1 potato

3 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped 

3 tbsp plain sev

1/2 cup of peas

1/2 cup grated carrot

3 cloves

Small cinnamon

2 tsp of fried gram ( Dalia/Hurikadle)

1 cm ginger

4 Garlic

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp chaat masala

1/2 tsp garam masala

A pinch of turmeric powder

2 cups of water 

Salt as per taste




Preparation: 


Step 1: In pressure cooker add water, soaked peas, potato. Make 1-3 whistles.


Step 2: Meanwhile heat pan on medium flame add cloves, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, fried gram, tomato, coriander leaves, green chili, red chili powder, coriander powder andgaram masala powder. Sauté for a while.


Step 3: Wait until warm. And then grind into fine paste using grinder.


Step 4: Further, transfer above paste to a pan and keep for boiling. 


Step 5: Add cooked peas , add water and salt. Mix well.


Step 6: Take puri and garnish as masala puri/ Dhai puri.
